Human Service Worker
	HSW - 170 Educational Assistant/Community Support Practice Experience I 3 Credit(s) Students complete a practicum of six to eight hours per week in an agency, facility or school setting. The practicum site is chosen to complement the course selection and certificate designation. This experience emphasizes a generic approach with a focus on the establishment of a knowledge base, initial skill development, and an understanding of professional expectations. Weekly seminars assist students to make a connection between theory and their practice while building proficiency at self-evaluation.
