BUS - 261 E-Marketing 3 Credit(s) This course focuses on the marketing applications of digital technology for strategic competitive advantage.examines the model of Electronic Business as it exists today and how marketing fits into it. It also examines how financial transactions occur in E-Commerce. Students will learn how to apply conventional marketing tactics to digital platformsthe Internet. Through hands-on application in a computer lab, they will create an on-line marketing communications piece for their portfolio. They will also develop a marketing plan for an Electronic based business. The course ends with a look at the future for Electronic Marketing. Topics include web design basics, analytics, SEO, advertising online, social media & mobile marketing
