BUS - 253 Entrepreneurship 3 Credit(s) 45 Hours
This course provides students with a broad range of basic business and entrepreneurship skills. Topics include legal issues of a business start-up and the management, marketing, financing and accounting for a business venture. The focus of the course is the development of a business plan that incorporates all the topics in the course.
Prerequisite(s): C+ in English 12 or equivalent
C in Foundations of Math 11 or equivalent
NOTE: Effective Fall 2024 prerequisites for this course are as follows:
C in BUS 100 , BUS 162 and either BUS 150 or all three of THM 100 , THM 108 and THM 112 .
