BIO - 261 Pathobiology II

3 Credit(s)
The second of a two-part course series that introduces the principles of pathophysiology, microbiology, immunology, and nutrition relevant to health sciences. The focus is on concepts and mechanisms of disease, with prototype diseases emphasized. Key topics include the immune system, infectious disease, cancer, and metabolic, reproductive, and neuromuscular diseases. There will be opportunities to investigate other diseases that may be encountered in the clinical area.
