Heavy Mechanical
	HMC - 142 Electrical Fundamentals in the Heavy Mechanical Trades 62 hours Hours This course introduces students to the fundamentals of electrical and electronic systems as it pertains to vehicle and equipment applications. Emphasis will be given to terminology, components, and devices, as well as magnetic theory. Students will diagnose and fix electrical and electronic systems. This course follows the requirements of ITA Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Level One. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Heavy Mechanical Trades Foundation Certificate program.
