Timber Cruising I Micro-credential

Admission Requirements

1. C in English 10 or equivalent or successful English assessment
     
2. C in Math 10 or equivalent or successful Math assessment
     
3. Or successful completion of FSK 030  if the above requirements are not met.
4. High School graduation is preferred but not required provided the applicant meets or exceeds the stated prerequisites.

Course Requirements

• CFW - 104 Plant Identification and Classification
• CFW - 106 Introduction to Timber Cruising
• CFW - 113 Technical Math for Forestry

Completion Requirements

• Students will be required to achieve a minimum C (Letter Grade Scale 1) in each course to pass the program. 
• The Program must be completed within 2 years.
• A minimum of 50% of the program must be completed at North Island College.
