AED - 015 Introduction to Sign Language

Students in the Introduction to Sign Language course will learn and practice basic signs for greetings, feelings, asking questions and communicating wants and needs. The skills they learn facilitates communications access in the workplace, at home and in the community. Students will be provided an introduction to Deaf culture, and the history of sign language.

Prerequisite(s):

Admission interview with DALS instructor.
