Tuition fees currently listed represent 2020-2021 academic year. Tuition fees for 2021-2022 academic year will be approved by the Board of Governors in November after which time these fees will be updated. While we do our best to share accurate and timely fee information, changes may occur.
Along with tuition, certain fees are applied to programs and courses. These additional costs may include lab fees, Learner Resource fees, Student Union fees and the Health and Dental Benefit plan.

Programs
Aside from program costs, there are other fees that may be charged for college services.
Application Fee: $25, non-refundable | $100 international applicants
Assessment for Math or English Placements: $15 NIC applicant, on-campus | $20 NIC applicant, off-campus |$45 + tax non-applicant
Duplicate Documentation: $10
Exam Invigilation in scheduled group sessions: $35 NIC student | $45+tax external students
Keyboard Assessment: $15 NIC applicant | $45+tax non-applicant
Letter of Permission: $5
Prior Learning Assessment: 75% of the tuition for the course, additional advising fees may apply
Official Transcripts: $10 + GST each
Transfer Credit Evaluations: No charge for BC post-secondary transcript | $20 per out-of-province transcript | $75 for international transcripts

Please note, tuition deposits and some fees are non-refundable and refunds may take up to three weeks to process.

Category 1
Refunds are available for courses/programs dropped before the add/drop deadline, as outlined in NIC’s academic deadlines.
Category 2
Refunds are available between the time of registration and seven calendar days before the start date.
Category 3
Refunds are available after the time of registration and up to 14 calendar days before the start date of the course or program. Applicants will receive a refund minus their tuition deposit.
Category 4
Refunds are available after the time of registration and up to 28 calendar days before the start date. Applicants will receive a refund minus the tuition deposit.
