HVA - 200 Heavy Mechanical Trades Apprenticeship - Level 2

240 Hours

This 8-week Level Two Heavy Mechanical Trades Apprenticeship training is common core for heavy-duty equipment technician (HDET), truck and transport mechanic (TTM), and diesel engine mechanic (DEM) with instruction focused on electronic, electrical, and fuel systems diagnosis and repair.

Prerequisite(s):

SkilledTradesBC Registered Apprentice
Must be working for an employer with at least one qualified journeyperson
Students must pass the provincial exam for HVA 100 or complete the Heavy Mechanical Foundations course before registering in HVA 200
