HVA - 100 Heavy Mechanical Trades Apprenticeship - Level 1

300 Hours

This 10-week Level One Heavy Mechanical Trades Apprenticeship training is common core for heavy-duty equipment technician (HDET), truck and transport mechanic (TTM), transport trailer technician (TTT), and diesel engine mechanic (DEM) and covers the following: brakes, hydraulics, electrical, frames, steering, suspension, trailers, heating, air conditioning, and structural components as they relate to heavy equipment.

Prerequisite(s):

SkilledTradesBC Registered Apprentice
Must be working for an employer with at least one qualified journeyperson
