AED - 041 Computer Foundations

This course will introduce topics that will enhance students’ capacity to utilize computers at work, at home and in the community. Students will become familiar with the components of a computer and how to use a computer. The course will teach word processing, keyboarding, basics of the internet and how to use accessibility tools. This course is geared towards students learning how to use a computer as a tool to seek out employment opportunities as well as using a computer in the workplace.
