Human Service Worker
	HSW - 164 Foundations of Community Support 3 Credit(s) This course introduces students to a diversity model approach regarding persons with disabilities. Supports and services that empower persons with disabilities are presented and the strengths of person with disabilities are emphasized. Issues of devaluation and discrimination of individuals with disabilities will be identified and discussed. There is a focus on person-centered practice and a strengths perspective.
