Build your skills and qualifications in the electrician trade while working toward your Interprovincial (Red Seal) designation. Electricians install, alter, repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems in residential, commercial and industrial operations. They ensure that all electrical connections are safe and meet code requirements. NIC offers all four levels of apprenticeship technical training, following criteria set by the Industry Training Authority (ITA).

Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be ITA-registered apprentices.
NOTE:
If you have previously applied to our Apprenticeship Program within the last year and now want to register for subsequent levels, please complete the Apprentice Training Registration Form and email it to Forms@nic.bc.ca
If it has been more than a year since you have first applied to NIC’s Apprenticeship Program, please submit a new application using the Apply Now link above and upload the completed Apprentice Training Registration Form

Course Requirements
Dates and classes may change or be cancelled depending on demand.
Apprentices enrolling in technical training must take their training in sequential order, levels 1, then 2, then 3 then 4. You must complete all levels of technical training to be eligible to write the Interprovincial (Red Seal) examination.
