Develop essential skills both in the classroom and on the worksite. You’ll learn safety, site layout and survey, footing and wall form work and residential wood frame construction from experienced Red Seal instructors, current apprentices and industry representatives. You’ll also earn level 1 technical training credit and work-based training hours toward your Interprovincial (Red Seal) certification when you register as an apprentice. As a graduate you will be equipped to pursue employment as an apprentice carpenter in residential, commercial or industrial construction, as a framer, finisher, forming carpenter or home renovator.

Admission Requirements

Or successful completion of FSK 030 if the above requirements are not met.
- High School graduation is preferred provided the applicant meets or exceeds the stated prerequisites.

Completion Requirements
Students will be required to achieve a minimum C (Letter Grade Scale 2) in each course to pass the program.
Student will be required to pass all industry certificate courses to achieve program completion requirements
