It takes a lot to keep a building running properly - and those skills are in demand. NIC’s Residential Building Maintenance Worker Apprenticeship training prepares you for a dynamic, engaging career. You’ll enter the workforce with a resourceful and versatile set of skills - allowing you to repair, maintain, install and remove a wide range of components and systems, such as electrical appliances or plumbing fixtures - and choose from opportunities in residential, simple commercial, institutional and mixed-use buildings. Upon successful completion of all apprenticeship levels and the required industry hours, you may write the SkilledTradesBC exam to achieve your Certificate of Qualification.
