Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship Harmonized
|
|
Build on your metalwork skills as you work toward your Interprovincial (Red Seal) designation. You’ll learn thermal cutting, bend allowances, reading drawings and blueprints, component fabrication and welding processes through theoretical and applied learning.

Admission Requirements
1. Registered as an apprentice with SkilledTradesBC
2. Must be working for an employer with at least one qualified journeyperson.
Not registered as an apprentice?
Ask your employer to register you as an apprentice with SkilledTradesBC. It’s free, simple, and can be completed online or printed and mailed to the SkilledTradesBC Head Office.
NOTE: If you have previously applied to our Apprenticeship Program within the last year and now want to register for subsequent levels, please complete the Apprentice Training Registration Form and email it to forms@nic.bc.ca
If it has been more than a year since you have first applied to NIC’s Apprenticeship Program, please submit a new application.

Course Requirements
Scheduled classes may be subject to change, depending on demand.
Apprentices enrolling in technical training must take their training in sequential order, beginning with level 1, then 2, then 3. Students must complete all levels of technical training in order to be eligible to write the Interprovincial (Red Seal) examination
