Computer Information Systems Certificate

Learn the essential components of modern information systems including hardware, software, and networking. You will develop essential skills through extensive hands-on lab exercises and projects. At the end of the program you will be prepared to enter the industry or continue with further study.

Admission Requirements

C in English 12 or equivalent or successful English assessment
, and
C+ in one of Pre-Calculus 11 or MAT 053 ; or C in one of Foundations of Math 12, Apprenticeship Math 12, Pre-Calculus 12, or MAT 060 ; or Math assessment.

Course Requirements

Completion Requirements

Students will be required to achieve a minimum grade of C in each course, obtain an overall average of C+, and pass LRN 100 in order to achieve program completion.
Students must complete the Computer Information Systems Certificate program within 5 years of admission to the program.
At least 50% of the course credits must be completed at North Island College.
