Welding Levels B and A

Advance your welding skills with this SkilledTradesBC-approved program. After completing the Welder Foundation Harmonized Certificate, Level B helps you expand your skills and prepare for your Interprovincial Red Seal designation. Level A offers more advanced practical and theoretical training to further enhance your expertise.

Admission Requirements
Level B
- Must have successfully completed Welding Level C or Foundation, plus minimum work-based hours as prescribed by SkilledTradesBC (OPSN 2015 029 - hours are recommended at 1,000).
High school graduation is preferred provided the applicant meets or exceeds the stated prerequisites.
Level A
- Must have successfully completed Welding Level B, plus minimum work-based hours as prescribed by SkilledTradesBC (OPSN 2015 029 - hours are a minimum of 1,950).
High school graduation is preferred provided the applicant meets or exceeds the stated prerequisites.
Completion Requirements
- You must attain competency in each module.
- Curriculum, certification and completion requirements may be subject to change as mandated by SkilledTradesBC and minimum work-based hours are updated periodically.
