Fundamentals of GIS Micro-credential

This program is designed to offer an introduction to GIS where students with little or no experience will progress through the foundational knowledge needed to comfortably use a GIS, through to more advanced GIS, where they will gain a higher level understanding of the more intricate aspects of GIS. Delivered over 16 weeks in an online format, using industry standard software, this program is well suited to those seeking to aquire or advance their GIS skills in a flexible environment.

Completion Requirements
- Students will be required to achieve a minimum C (Letter Grade Scale 1) in each course to pass the program.
- The Program must be completed within 2 years.
- A minimum of 50% of the program must be completed at North Island College.
