Admission Requirements

1. C+ in Foundations of Math 11 or equivalent or successful Math assessment
     
2. C+ in English 12 or equivalent or successful English assessment
     or 
   IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
    .  Students are recommended to take ENG 104  in the first semester. Students who do not have a band score of Academic IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 20, PTE 50, CAEL 60 or higher in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking will be required to take ENG 104  in the first semester.   

Course Requirements

• BUS - 100 Financial Accounting Fundamentals
• BUS - 105 Principles of Business
• BUS - 132 Mathematics of Finance
• BUS - 150 Principles of Management
• BUS - 162 Principles of Marketing
• BUS - 170 Computer Applications for Business
• ECO - 110 Principles of Microeconomics

•  

  One of the following:

• ENG - 160 Effective Organizational Writing or
• ENG - 166 Effective Organizational Communications

•  

  One of the following: 

• ENG - 115 Essay Writing and Critical Analysis or
• ENG - 116 Essay Writing & Indigenous Perspectives or
• ENG - 117 Academic Writing

•  

  Plus one elective totaling 3 credits chosen from courses numbered 100 or higher that transfer to a BC degree-granting institution.  

   

  Note: Students intending to advance in Accounting as part of the Business Diploma or Degree program should take STA 115  as their elective in Year 1. 

Completion Requirements

• A minimum GPA of 2.00 is required.
• Must be completed within 3 years. 
• A minimum of 50% of the program must be completed at North Island College.
