PHY - 215 Introductory Quantum Physics 3 Credit(s) This course introduces topics in Modern Physics, with an emphasis on Quantum Physics. It explores the experimental evidence for quantum theory and the resulting descriptions of both the atomic structure and the wave properties of matter. This course introduces the time-independent Schrödinger equation as well as wave functions and probability, and applies this knowledge to a variety of potential wells and the specific case of the Hydrogen atom.
