CWA - 100 Construction Craft Worker Apprenticeship Level 1

This course introduces students to essential trades-based workplace skills of relevance to various constructions sites. The training encompasses workplace safety, worksite processes and requirements, site preparation and maintenance, typical construction applications, material handling, common construction trade tools and equipment, construction materials and use, document-use and blueprints, and essential communications and workplace skills. Students will participate in theoretical and applied learning to prepare for the worksite as they hone the skills and abilities to perform vital and routine construction activities. This course follows the requirements of ITA Construction Craft Worker (Labourer) Level 1.
