AQT - 110 Finfish Husbandry 3 Credit(s) This course provides an overview of the production approaches used in the finfish aquaculture sector. Following a review of the various production systems used for finfish production and the environmental conditions appropriate for farm siting, topics associated with farm operations will include feeding systems and protocols, production planning, finfish health practices, stocking density, grading, weight samples, harvest procedures, finfish transport, and fish processing.
Prerequisite(s):
- Admission to the Aquaculture Technician Certificate Program.
