The purpose of this course is to assist students in developing tools for planning and implementing economic development initiatives that align with their respective community’s short, mid and long term economic goals and visions. Topics include an introduction to relevant economic concepts and resources available to support strategic planning for economic development in Indigenous Communities.

Prerequisite(s):

C in English 12 or equivalent or successful English assessment ; or
Admission into the Indigenous Leadership Certificate Program
