RBA - 300 Residential Building Maintenance Worker Level 3

This course helps develop skilled professionals to take part in BC’s booming housing industry in the role of a Residential Building Maintenance Worker. The course covers the essential skills in multiple areas of building maintenance such as minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating, flooring, drywall repair and painting.

Students will learn trades math and financial calculations as they relate to performing estimating calculations and hiring sub-contractors. Students will also learn additional skills to repair and maintain heating and ventilation systems. Finally, students will learn to test for electrical problems and to paint wall surfaces.

Prerequisite(s):

Registered as an apprentice with SkilledTradesBC
Must be working for an employer with at least one qualified journeyperson
Students must have passed RBA 200 before registering in RBA 300
