RBA - 200 Residential Building Maintenance Worker Level 2

This course helps develop skilled professionals to take part in BC’s booming housing industry in the role of a Residential Building Maintenance Worker. The course covers the essential skills in multiple areas of building maintenance such as minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating, flooring, drywall repair and painting.  

In this course students will learn additional skills in the area of building maintenance such as applying codes, bylaws, and public relations skills as they relate to tenants and owners.  Students will also be introduced to new aspects of building maintenance such as plumbing, roofing, flooring, heating, and ventilation systems.

Prerequisite(s):

1. Registered as an apprentice with SkilledTradesBC
2. Must be working for an employer with at least one qualified journeyperson
3. Students must have passed RBA 100 before registering in RBA 200
