HVA - 400 Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship - Level 4

150 Hours

This 5-week Level Four Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship training covers occupational skills, hydraulics, electrical, frames, steering, suspension, structural component systems, hybrid and electrical vehicles (EV), and communication and mentoring techniques as they relate to the heavy equipment trade. Level Four Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship training prepares students to write their Red Seal exam to receive their Red Seal as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician.

Prerequisite(s):

SkilledTradesBC Registered Apprentice
Must be working for an employer with at least one qualified journeyperson
Students must pass the provincial exam for HVA 300 before registering in HVA 400
