CFW - 106 Introduction to Timber Cruising

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of timber cruising including theory and field applications such as sampling and measuring techniques. Content aligns with Level 1 and 2 (partial) competency criteria of ABCFP’s Cruiser Accreditation. Emphasis will be placed on cruising methodologies such as fixed area plot measurement and point sampling.

Prerequisite(s):  

1. C in Math 10 or equivalent or successful Math assessment   

2. C in English 10 or equivalent or successful English assessment   

3. Or successful completion of FSK 030   if the above requirements are not met.
