Welder Foundation Harmonized Enhanced provides customized training including Welder Foundation programming, trades math, communications, digital applications, and industry certifications for individuals seeking to transition into the welder trades and related careers.
Prepare for employment in industrial manufacturing, shipbuilding and repair, welding, and fabrication shops. Learn a variety of welding and fabrication techniques, basic metallurgy, drawing for welding and occupational skills from very experienced, highly qualified instructors in well-equipped shops.
Develop essential technical, safety, and career planning skills to enter the workforce and earn level 1 and 2 technical training credit and work-based hours towards your Interprovincial (Red Seal) certification. Upon completion of classroom and shop programming, you’ll have the opportunity to complete an internship where you’ll gain hand-on shop experience and establish yourself as a future apprentice.
Please note: this program requires that students complete all listed training and upon completion you will receive the Welder Foundation Harmonized Certificate.
