Program Costs

Total costs vary depending on the program you are taking. Depending on your program, you may be required to provide a tuition deposit. Tuition deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable payments that are applied to tuition.

Prior Learning Assessment	75% of the tuition for the course (additional advising fees may apply)
Official Transcripts	$10 + GST per request
Transfer Credit Evaluations (BC Post-Secondary Transcript)	No charge
Transfer Credit Evaluations (Out of Province Transcript)	$20 per transcript

Tuition Refunds	Tuition refund policies vary based on the category of your course or program and apply to domestic applicants. Refer to your program page to learn your category. Please note, tuition deposits and some fees are non-refundable and refunds may take up to three weeks to process. If you are unsure of whether you’re eligible for a refund, contact Student Services.
Category 1	Refunds are available for the courses/programs dropped before the add/drop deadline, as outlined in NIC’s academic deadlines.
Category 2	Refunds are available between the time of registration and seven calendar days before the start date.
Category 3	Refunds are available after the time of registration and up to 14 calendar days before the start date of the course or program. Applicants will receive a refund minus their tuition deposit.
Category 4	Refunds are available after the time of registration and up to 28 calendar days before the start date. Applicants will receive a refund minus the tuition deposit.
