NIC’s Accessible Learning options are available to support those with diverse learning needs.
Develop literacy, independence, employment, daily living and workplace readiness skills in classes tailored to support your cognitive or developmental disabilities. Whether you take one course, study part-time or register for a full program, we can help you reach your goals.
Make new friends and get the support you need as you develop goals, work search and communication skills to prepare for employment. We’ll help you prepare a résumé, practice your interview skills and learn about expectations required in the workplace.
To take part in Accessible Learning programs and courses, students need:
- A genuine desire to work
- to be 18 years of age or older
- to be individuals with documented cognitive or developmental disabilities
- to attend a personal interview with the instructor
