Welding is essential to the forest, fishing, aquaculture, agriculture, oil and gas, manufacturing, construction and maintenance industries in every part of the country. Admission Requirements
Level B
- Must have successfully completed Welding Level C or Foundation, plus minimum work-based hours as prescribed by the ITA (OPSN 2015 029 - hours are recommended at 1,000).
High school graduation is preferred provided the applicant meets or exceeds the stated prerequisites.
Level A
- Must have successfully completed Welding Level B, plus minimum work-based hours as prescribed by the ITA (OPSN 2015 029 - hours are a minimum of 1,950).
High school graduation is preferred provided the applicant meets or exceeds the stated prerequisites.
Completion
You must attain competency in each module.
Curriculum, certification and completion requirements may be subject to change as mandated by the ITA and minimum work-based hours are updated periodically.
