In the Drone to Map program, you will develop essential skills in acquiring, visualizing, and analyzing drone imagery. Designed for individuals who have little or no background in GIS (Geographic Information System) or drone operation, the curriculum covers the fundamentals of RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) piloting theory, customized flight and survey planning to suit specific data capture needs, and data processing utilizing various GIS and spatial analysis tools. Through hands-on experience with RPAS imagery and industry-standard software, participants will engage in real-world mapping and analysis projects, creating and sharing high-quality mapping products for practical use and collaborative endeavors.

Completion Requirements
- Students will be required to achieve a minimum C (Letter Grade Scale 1) in GIS 111 and RFT 201 , and pass any pass/fail courses to pass the program.
- The Program must be completed within the delivery timelines.
- A minimum of 50% of the program must be completed at North Island College.
