Instrumentation and Electrical Automation Technician Diploma

Students will learn to design, commission and maintain crucial systems including power electronics, instrumentation, microprocessor or micro-controller-based systems and more. This program will also prepare students to analyze and troubleshoot electrical and process control networks in emerging technologies.


  

Admission Requirements


Physics 12 or PHY 060 is recommended.  High school graduation is preferred provided the applicant meets or exceeds the stated prerequisites. 

Prior learning assessment is possible for industry professionals.  

 

Completion Requirements


Students will be required to achieve a minimum B- (Grade Scale 1) in each course to pass the program.  Students will be required to achieve a P (Pass) in all practicum and industry certificate courses.  

Students must complete program within 3 years.
