THD - 281 Tourism & Hospitality Managerial Accounting 3 Credit(s) In this course learners will learn to use various accounting tools to make wise business decisions. From profit goals, to cash flow to budgeting, learners will learn how these tools can increase the chances for business success through strategic planning. Learners will be given the opportunity to problem solve through the use of operating ratios, cost-volume profit analysis, pricing approaches and lease accounting. Students taking this course cannot get credit for THM - 215 Tourism & Hospitality Managerial Accounting or TMA - 280 Managerial Accounting for the Hospitality Industry .
Prerequisite(s):
- Successful completion of THD 111 , BUS 100 or other 1st year Financial Accounting course
