FJF - 109 Marine Joinery

This course extends students’ design and technical woodworking skills to marine joinery including the interior construction and selection of exterior wooden components of a vessel. Emphasis will be given to design for the marine environment, material selection, joinery, and structural considerations. This course follows the requirements of SkilledTradesBC Cabinet Maker (Joiner) Level 1.

Prerequisite(s): Admission into the Furniture Design and Joinery Certificate program.
