HMC - 141 Engines and Supporting Systems - Fundamentals

This course introduces internal combustion engines. Emphasis will be given to engine support systems including cooling, lubrication, and air induction systems. This course culminates with demonstration of the removal and re-installation of an engine. This course follows the requirements of SkilledTradesBC Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Level One.

Prerequisite(s):

Admission to the Heavy Mechanical Trades Foundation Certificate program.
