HMC - 139 Hydraulic Components and Systems - Fundamentals

This course encompasses the foundational aspects of hydraulic systems. Emphasis will be given to hose assembly, components, diagrams, and hydraulic schematics. During this course students will learn about the operation, types and components of hydraulic systems followed by the application of assembling and maintaining hydraulic systems. This course follows the requirements of SkilledTradesBC Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Level One.

Prerequisite(s):

Admission to the Heavy Mechanical Trades Foundation Certificate program.
