HMC - 135 Powertrain Components and Systems - Fundamentals

This course provides an in-depth knowledge into all the components that make up vehicle and equipment powertrains as found in the Heavy Mechanical trades. Emphasis will be given to the installation, maintenance, and removal of transmissions, drivelines, and final drives. This course follows the requirements of SkilledTradesBC Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Level One.

Prerequisite(s):

Admission to the Heavy Mechanical Trades Foundation Certificate program.
