SSW - 208 Social Work Practice in Mental Health and Addictions 3 Credit(s)
This course will provide students with knowledge of mental health, mental illness, and substance use and abuse. The intersecting impacts of trauma, oppression, and stigma at the individual and societal level will be examined. Students will learn skills and models for assessment, treatment planning, and support.
