BUS - 255 Human Resources Management 3 Credit(s) This course provides an introduction to the functions of Human Resource Management and takes the perspective that Human Resource Management plays an important role in the ability of organizations to achieve productivity and effectiveness while attaining individual and societal objectives. Topics include planning, recruitment and selection, job analysis and job evaluation, compensation management, performance appraisals, motivation, and employee/employer relationships.
Prerequisite(s):
- C in BUS 105 or Admission to a Post Graduate Business or Tourism program and
- C in BUS 150
