ENG - 160 Effective Organizational Writing

English 160 is an applied writing course that focuses on communication skills required in professional and business fields. Students will learn how to use language effectively, produce general correspondence, synthesize research for formal report and proposal writing, and design effective documents. Students may not receive credit for ENG 160 if
they have successfully completed ENG 166.

Prerequisite(s):

C in English 12 or equivalent or successful English assessment
; or Academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 with band scores of 6.0 in Writing and Reading
