THM - 276 Food & Beverage Management 3 Credit(s) Food and Beverage managers are responsible for coordinating and controlling F&B operations. The objectives are maximizing sales, profit, staff development and overall customer experience, while embracing social responsibility. Managing means designing organization’s goals, nurturing teams that align with those & running the entire operating process. This course will help to build the theoretical & applied skills and knowledge necessary to become an effective food and beverage manager. It also provides students with an opportunity to apply their learning through the use of simulations and/or the analysis of case studies covering a range of contemporary industry topics and issues.
Prerequisite(s):
- C in one of THM 170 or THM 175 or by admission into the Global Tourism and Hospitality Management Post Graduate Certificate or by admission into the Global Tourism and Hospitality Management Post Graduate Diploma
